David Kitai is Senior Editor of Benefits and Pensions Monitor, Canada's leading publication for pension plan professionals, institutional money managers, benefits industry professionals, and HR executives. His reporting covers Canadian macroeconomics, defined benefit and defined contribution pension strategy, institutional investment, alternative assets — including Canadian commercial real estate and infrastructure — sovereign wealth policy, fixed income markets, environmental, social and governance (ESG) investing, and the economic and regulatory developments shaping the Canadian pension and group benefits industry.

David brings broad journalism experience to the role, including magazine editing, radio production, and international reporting from Toronto, Vancouver, and Tbilisi, Georgia. He also serves as Senior Editor of Wealth Professional Canada, covering the Canadian financial advice and wealth management industry. He holds a Master of Journalism from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver.
