David Kitai is Senior Editor of Benefits and Pensions Monitor, Canada's leading publication for pension plan professionals, institutional money managers, benefits industry professionals, and HR executives. His reporting covers Canadian macroeconomics, defined benefit and defined contribution pension strategy, institutional investment, alternative assets including Canadian commercial real estate and infrastructure, sovereign wealth policy, fixed income markets, and environmental, social and governance (ESG) investing.
David brings broad journalism experience to the role, including magazine editing, radio production, and international reporting from Toronto, Vancouver, and Tbilisi, Georgia. He holds a Master of Journalism from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, and a BA in History, European Studies, and Political Science from the University of Toronto - Victoria University.
