Benefits platform opens hormone health programs to plan members

Partnership brings virtual menopause, metabolic, and andropause care into employee benefits plans

Benefits platform opens hormone health programs to plan members

Frontier HSA members can now access Science&Humans's hormone health programs through the platform's benefits program, under a partnership between the two companies.

The programs cover general hormone health and early reproductive care, including PMOS (formerly PCOS), PMDD and fertility, as well as perimenopause and menopause support, metabolic health and weight management, and andropause and men's hormone health.

Care combines diagnostics, virtual consultations, personalized treatment plans and ongoing clinical support, with wellness coaching that includes lifestyle and nutrition recommendations.

The companies said the approach addresses fragmented services, long wait times and limited continuity of care in traditional healthcare.

Science&Humans founder and chief executive officer Aftab Pashaw said hormone health "plays a fundamental role in how people feel, function, and perform at every stage of life, yet it remains an overlooked part of employee wellness."

He described the partnership as "an opportunity to change that by making personalized, clinician-led hormone care more accessible through employee benefits," and said supporting hormone health is "an investment in people's long-term wellbeing."

Frontier HSA's platform is built to simplify benefits administration and to offer flexible, modular health and wellness options.

The arrangement allows employers, brokers and plan sponsors to add hormone health services to existing benefits offerings.

The health-care system is built around treating illness, according to Benji Visser, founder and chief executive officer of Frontier HSA.

Frontier HSA partnered with Science&Humans to help members get hormone and metabolic care earlier, Visser said, because those conditions affect energy, mood, and sleep every day.
