Sponsors from 20 to 200,000 lives can pick one service or a bundle on a single monthly invoice
Six Canadian-owned virtual health providers now sit inside a single women's and family health bundle that plan sponsors can attach to their group insurance plans.
SamsaraHealth Network, in announcing the launch, described the offering as a simple, flexible, and affordable way for sponsors to add digital health coverage.
The company's release identifies Denise Balch, president and founder of SamsaraHealth Network and president of Connex Health Consulting, as the offering's designer.
Denise Balch said in the release that benefits discussions are taking up women's health and family-building needs, though existing options have been fragmented or US based.
SamsaraHealth Network puts Canadian-owned providers "under one umbrella," according to Balch, and bills each client through one monthly invoice.
The network covers family planning, family building, and mid-life, and, as set out in the company's release, includes:
- Reya Health: hormonal health support and contraceptive navigation, with digital tracking and expert counselling
- Sprout: fertility and family-building support for in vitro fertilization (IVF), egg freezing, surrogacy, and adoption
- PUSH Mama Care: maternal health covering prenatal, postpartum, and early pediatric physical and emotional wellbeing
- KixCare: 24/7 virtual pediatric services for children and teens, covering physical and mental health
- sanoLiving: menopause education, support, and symptom management aimed at reducing workplace barriers and stigma
- PrehabRx: personalized digital prehabilitation and rehabilitation for women facing cancer treatments and surgical procedures
Groups from 20 to 200,000 lives can select one service or a bundled combination for full-time and part-time members and their dependants, according to SamsaraHealth Network.
Balch added in the release: "Our goal is to help advisors differentiate their value proposition while giving plan sponsors a practical way to support women and families at every life stage."
The company states that all providers in the network are 100 percent Canadian-owned and operated, with services delivered by Canadian healthcare experts.
